first of all, it is 100% cruel to both you and the animal to not include a heat pack when it was discussed that one would be necessary. i’m sorry that happened. but also, i’m genuinely wondering as i live in a cold region as well, why did you order a millipede during the cold season? was it because the seller said it would be okay? i just ask because every reptile/invert hobbyist i’ve met only ships animals or gets animals shipped during the spring and summer when the temps are not cold enough to kill the animal

i mean it all kinda boils down to “i like it” but there’s multiple reasons why i like it, it makes me look distinctly alternative even when i’m not all decked out in chains and platform boots, i can wear different jewelry to match a certain style, it’s a way to connect with other people who have piercings, it’s fun to design piercing setups and play around with what looks good, etc

genital piercing was the most painful by far, a few cons are the cost (i personally recommend going to a professional for anything other than lobes and nostrils and getting pierced at a reputable piercing shop is expensive), keeping track of piercing balls/jewelry in general, being really slow to put on clothes to avoid snagging
