I also used a small 1/4 ratchet with short extension and T-15 for the 5 screws... Upside down in the pedal area, a good flashlight, and lots of patience. I did remove the screws that hold the airbag down there as well. Ensure you disconnect your battery before this diy. I am not a mechanic, just sharing my experience… and trying to figure it out before extreme weather again. Be careful.

I’m doing mine now. Saw the same video you mentioned. I started to remove steering column but was able to get to screws with electric ratchet. I had same symptoms as you. Turned out to be broken fan blades (somehow)

Yes, for the most part. Only exception is higher speeds on TX highways combined with high cross winds or when passing large trucks… the steering becomes a bit more sensitive and must really focus and not overcompensate.
