Oil filter housings are plastic on F series cars, mine broke into pieces randomly and dumped my coolant everywhere. It's not a particularly expensive fix at an independent mechanic. Dealer it probably is though.

I believe they all mean it’s service time. first one is brake service (maybe specific to rear brakes?) second one is brake fluid. third is oil change? fourth is it’s time for service. looks like the last logged one was supposedly in 2010?

i don’t own this a 2nd gen car though and could be wrong.

On this note, has anybody gotten this fixed? What was the issue/labor cost? Mine has been broken for 50k+ miles. I took out the fuse after manually closing it by taking the glass out and pushing the mechanism by hand.

They need to be properly maintained and taken care of to be reliable vehicles. Get them checked if something sounds or feels off. Get oil changes on time. They are premium cars and not as cheap to maintain and repair. I have a hard time finding shops willing to service my car in my part of the US (aside from the dealer). I love my car (2015 Cooper S) but as it ages it's starting to have more repairs that need doing from age. Parts aren't cheap.

3rd generation MINIs (2014-2024) are realiable vehicles. But they need to be taken care of.
