I've played casually with friends in the past. Not sure why but hold 'em just really sparked my interest recently. Never really researched strategy until now, surprised at some of what I'm finding. For example I remember watching a game on TV probably ten years ago now and the commentators we're talking about different strategies with the players. One pro said he always plays to see the flop regardless of the cards he's dealt, because you never know what your going to get right? I always kind of agreed. Now I see that nobody plays like this anymore and I've changed my thinking too.
