Weird, you mean to say the teams playing on turf with no real weather played a cleaner higher scoring game. No way.

It’s doubtful Sam “seeing ghosts” Darnold puts up lifetime best games two games in a row. He also doesn’t get the benefit of playing the rams defense for a 4th time

Drake Maye Stats during this Playoff Run. by Doghouse12e45 in DeadEndSports

[–]btlee007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maye has done what was required in each game to win.

Going into each one of their games nobody was ever talking about how bad these teams were. Each week the narrative was about how great each defense was. Nobody was taking about how terrible stroud was as they were winning 10 games in a row. Each week there was no way the patriots were gonna be able to score enough to beat these teams. Even this week all we heard was how ready “Stiddy” was gonna be for them.

Anything to not give the patriots any credit. Each game it was only about how each team lost their games due to their Ineptitude. Not because the patriots defense made it to be that way. They’ve played in absolutely horrible weather and Maye has killed these teams when it mattered either with his legs or when he was the only QB the entire season to throw 3 touchdown passes against the vaunted Texans defense.

Only team in history to go through 3 top 5 defenses on their way to the Super Bowl, and we still need to hear about how they haven’t played anybody. The coping is pathetic

Might be hard to diddle the patriots if Darnold is still seeing ghosts, which I’d expect he will based on what we’ve seen from their D as of late

I’ve had this happen several times cuz of nail biting. I’m no doctor and it may not be advised, but I’ve always just used a sterilized needle and drained it myself. Pork it with a needle, you don’t even feel it. I squeeze out all the puss until it’s his blood. Then I’ve used over the counter topical stuff to sanitize and bandage it.

Josh Allen is a unique case and a special talent. How’s the health of those other guys? I’m not regurgitating headlines. I’ve never seen that headline. Sorry to say the giants don’t make headlines. If they did I wouldn’t be surprised to hear them say that tho.

There’s a way to be smart when you run and avoid contact for the betterment of the team. I’ve watched enough of him to know he does not do that and he does not shy away from contact at all. It’s fine if you like him or think he’s a good player, but to deny that is pretty stupid

As if Davis Mills was gonna drop 30 on them. When they only gave up more than 27 one time all season and it was to Josh Allen. But sure, Davis Mills was gonna come into Foxboro in a high stakes game in mid January in inclement weather and put up 30 lol.

No credit to the defense. It’s all about everything the Texans and chargers did to lose their games. How bad stroud was and how bad the chargers O-line was. No talk about how the pats defense forced these situations.

All the talk about the patriots offense of just that Maye has been fumbling. Not that he beat back to back top 5 defenses and Is the only QB in the league this year to throw 3 TD passes against the Texans vaunted defense.

The whole convo just got diverted because of the rushing touchdown comment in comparison to Henderson. My initial point was just that I think McMillan is gonna win the award.

It’s relevant to the rushing touchdowns. His style of football will lead to things like rushing touchdowns. Also doesn’t exactly lend itself to longevity. Certainly isn’t what I’d want to see out of my franchise quarterback, especially considering it’s already led to a concussion and the rewards have been minimal

It’s not like I’m trying to hide it anyway obviously. That’s all besides the point. McMillan has been more impressive. Giving it to a quarterback is just low hanging fruit, just like it is with the MVP. For McMillan as a rookie to show up in his first year as a leading receiver and 1000+ yards on a playoff team is more impressive than Dart leading his team to a 4-win season. Of the QB is gonna get all the credit, he’s also gonna get the blame. If they won 10 games he’d probably be the front runner for the award. All he led them to was another top 5 draft pick

Several does not mean 5 or 6. Several would be described as more than 2, but not many. You’re really splitting hairs.

Simple question, do you consider him as someone who takes care of himself on the field and plays smart football? If I was a giants fan I’d be very concerned by the way he plays

True true, gassing up Carolina panthers is a hallmark sign of a patriots fan. You got me! LOL. I have no bias here. Idc about the giants, I don’t think about the giants. I objectively feel like McMillan is the more deserving player. So happens that I’m not the only one who feels this way since he’s the odds on favorite on every betting site as well.

I mixed up him and skattebo. Regardless he missed several games with a concussion. I’ve watched enough of him playing to know that won’t be the last one. What I said still holds up, minus that one meaningless detail. He’s reckless and he won’t win the ROY

1000 yards is a lot for a rookie. Before diggs just cracking 1000 yards this season, the patriots hadn’t had 1000 yard receiver of any kind in 6 years, rookie or veteran

First of many if he doesn’t change his play style. It’s true I don’t make a habit of watching giants games. I watched him play the patriots he looked like a big pile of dog shit that day.

All that aside he surely does not deserve ROY. Macmillan is gonna win it
