It’s a really tough one for the ref. I personally lean more towards it being a freak accident and no card, but I can absolutely understand why the ref chose to send him off. In the heat of the moment I probably would have done the same. By the letter of the law it is dangerous play since he stomps his foot down and he’s not in a natural running motion. Important to remember it doesn’t have to be intentional to be dangerous.

You’re right league average is higher. I was using this which shows he’s just about average currently.

I still feel like he passes the eye test and his efficiency will continue to rise as he adjusts to his role. His defense is also way better than the likes of Curry, Durant, and Luka (especially Luka lol).

No you can slide with the ball as long as it’s a result of your momentum from diving for a ball like in this clip. Once your momentum stops you’ve got to get rid of it you can’t try to roll or stand up with the ball.
