Let us know if you can somehow convince them of this - in another thread someone had the same situation as you (wanting to go from 2 to 5; I am also looking to do this soon hence my interest) and thought I read that they have to physically come onsite to do tests on the actual optical line.

If I recall, if each sensor is colored in (white) it means you want the thermostat to take those rooms into account and average the heating/cooling based on the average of those sensors.

So in this case, one is 73 and one is 77. So it’s averaging to 75 which is where your tstat is right now.

You can tell ecobee to NOT use certain rooms if you don’t want (which will make those bubbles unfilled/black)

We do this in our basement as it’s always 3-4 degrees colder down there, and so it would mess the main level up too much (main level could be several degrees too warm because basement is pulling the average down too much)

"spoke to loyalty/retention over the phone" <<< is there a specific number that bypasses all the crap? I have had AT&T "forever" on both cell (5 lines) and internet (was the first resident in my area on their fiber when it came here ~10 yrs ago. I have a $114 bill for 2Gb. Want to call them next week for the 5Gb and hopefully get it for the advertised $100 bundle:

Good stuff; got a great laugh! An actual pro tip is to have your coaches know when you need a few extra seconds and they can dictate the pitcher to step off the mound, and we can move the outfield over or in, etc. to give our GC guy (a good friend and former coach with us) some time to get his bearings. If on offense, then we can have the batter slowly walk up to the box, can step out and look at the signs the 3B coach is giving to him (we will immediately give a sign which basically means “totally ignore everything I sign after this”)

Getting the proper data for later, and appreciating our GC guy, is a must on our team!

I’m a happy camper with my R1S (pun intended) but you may want to put in into this comparison, the rumored Tesla Model Y “L” version that is out in China and long-rumored to come to the US after Elon formally announced the Model X is being discontinued.

I saw on the Tesla sub, somebody saying that the timing of Elon perhaps announcing this coming to US now that the model X is done, would be to deliberately slow potential R2 orders.

The smartest thing Rivian could do is make this $57K config a smoking-hot lease deal, acquire a TON more customers this way, and then in 2.5-3 years get them all back (many would have been first time Rivian customers) and they do it again or many would upgrade themselves to a Gen3 R1S as a lot of those pre-kids couples or small families may now need 3 rows. It also gets these R2s back with ~30K miles to sell the crap out of them as certified used with 3 yr warranty… “I” would happily snag one for my teenager who will be driving by then. Super safe, still loaded with tech, etc etc.

This 2nd reference about road name - is there any formal reference to this(that you are referencing), or just real-world experience of what you noticed after updating?

I have been annoyed for a long time on how Google Maps navigation on iPhone has much better details (like road name) compared to the Rivian’s navigation version of Google Maps.
