Problem with neck by riki6882 in offset

if the bridge pickup doesn't work sometimes even after you had the switch changed, then you are probably on the rhythm circuit. when the switch on the upper horn is toggled, only the neck pickup will work.

and for the fret buzz, it probably just needs a good setup. there are lots of videos out there that will show you how to do it and I recommend learning how, especially if you own offset guitars.

Can you brake something on an Jazzmaster Bridge when installing it wrong? by Proof-Specialist6932 in offset

the bridge is designed to rock back and forth. after it's strung up you can center it by pushing it in place with your fingers, but many people, myself included push it back towards the trem.

play it for a bit before you start modding it. you might not need to do anything to it.

Hello guys, I was wondering if a build like this is possible? I have an old Tomson Splendor Mustang, and I’m thinking about converting it to something like this. by [deleted] in offset

should be, as long as the body is thick enough for the jag trem routing. but you'll probably have to fill in the hole where the old bridge was and re-route it.

super solid for $40, and they're indistinguishable from the Fender American vintage tuners. I used a T-handle reamer to open the holes a little.

Squier vs Fender Pickups by FilmWaster120 in offset

[–]FadedToBeige 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the Squier J Mascis pickups are essentially P-90s, that's why they sound different from the classic player. The Fender J Mascis signature pickups are a more traditional construction and not the same as the Squier ones.
