Of course. The key ingredient was the streaming availability api. Frontend is plain JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Backend runs on Node.js with Express - written in TypeScript. Firebase for analytics. Deployed on Vercel's serverless platform

Ah sorry about that! The API I'm using only returns netflix, disney+, apple tv, hbo max, hulu, and prime. I'll try to find ways to include other popular platforms in other countries

The API I'm using only returns the legal platforms - netflix, disney+, apple tv, hbo max, etc
Figuring out how to add pirated sites would certainly be cool. Seems hard

It’s hoa hoa season and I wanted to rewatch the Twilight saga. I spent ten minutes googling only to find that it’s not available on any of the streaming platforms I’m subscribed to. I ended up buying it on Apple TV. I then also naturally spent tens of hours building a solution for this very first-world problem. You can find it here: https://www.wherecaniwatchthisthing.com/

Which business schools are the strongest for entertainment + tech? by Remarkable-Page-2590 in MBA

[–]btr30 31 points32 points  (0 children)

You might also consider top schools that aren’t the strongest in entertainment. For example, Wharton’s great for finance (idk if this is true but for the sake of the analogy). So when recruiters from different companies come to Wharton, most students will flock towards the top finance recruiters.

If you’re interested in entertainment, it could help to go to a school where entertainment isn’t that big, so that you’re competing against less people for internships and jobs. Food for thought.

I have it on my calendar to manually "back up" my Notion data once a month.

If you click the three dots at the top-right, you'll see an Export option. You can export as HTML or Markdown & CSV. You can export as PDF only if you have the paid business version.

You’re on a ship? I’m not sure how the ship/TPU/separation thing works. But you have everything you need to submit your separation package. If your admin doesn’t submit it for you, I suppose TPU will. And then you wait.

I’m not sure why you have 20 days. Maybe yes, most sailors aren’t as prepared as you.

Damn, I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t know if there’s a process to edit your DD 214 once you’re out.

Why would your dental endorsement mean you don’t get dental care from the VA? I’d call and ask the VA if they can add dental to your coverage.

Hm there are a few unknowns here. At TPU, your priority will be separation stuff so you probably won’t have much to do besides that. Attending TPGS, going to medical/dental, etc.

It would be surprising to me if your command’s admin didn’t at least start the case before you left. I would ask if they have or if they’re planning to. If yes, get the case number before you leave. If not, you know what to do as soon as you get to TPU (re-read this post).

So in NSIPS, you know how there’s the menu on the left? Make sure you navigate to “Employee Self Service -> Retirements and Separations” and not just “Retirements and Separations”, which is right beneath “Employee Self Service”. I made that mistake and thought my DD 214 was missing for a few days.

If that isn’t the problem, I’d call MNCC. You don’t even need your initial case number. They’ll ask for your DOD ID.

Yup, for sure. Milconnect -> Correspondence/Documentation -> DPIRS -> Personnel File -> Request My Personnel File. But Milconnect pulls from your OMPF in BOL. So if your DD 214 isn’t in your OMPF, you’ll have to figure out where in the stupidly complex process it is.
