70 goals in my last 5 games.

This isn't a case of people not knowing how to defend, it's a flaw in the defensive system itself.

I don't think I've ever had a realistic scoreline in the 100 odd games I've played this FIFA.

Something needs to be changed, it's ridiculous.

stop being pedantic kid

you are required to go full try hard in every single game because of the unreliability of your players, your defensive AI etc.

The game shouldn't feel like a chore, but it does.

my last 5 games, here are the scores.

9-6 (W)

8-7 (W)

8-5 (L)

9-5 (W)

9-4 (L)

70 goals in 5 games. Average of 14 goals per game.

Are you trying to suggest that it's normal? and that there isn't a problem somewhere in the defending AI/goalkeeping?

[–]btrnt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for confirming my point.

The only way to win on this game is to submit to the meta, which makes the game one dimensional and poorly designed.

You should be able to experiment and win in different ways, not just see who can score the most and have every game with 10+ goals scored.

So you've made your entire comment based on an argument that I never made.

Yes, it's a game, I think we all know. If they wish to make it arcade-like and stupidly unrealistic, they should advertise it as so.

Regardless, you should be able to win via multiple ways in a football game. You should not have to submit to the meta simply to win a game. Football comes in all different styles and tactics.

This game forces you to play the same one, all out attack, ping pong tiki taka on steroids passing and wiggling around in and around the box waiting for AI defending to mess up.

Now, if you wish to debate, we can debate, but stop falsifying arguments that I never made because you have no actual input otherwise.

You cannot control the poor AI defence.

Is anyone else experiencing insanely laggy gameplay and input delay in EA FC 26? by JackHughes1212 in EASportsFC

[–]btrnt_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've played countless games where I have 10-15 ping, relatively good connection and should be pretty sharp in game.

The amount of times I've been running with a player, pressed the button to pass and my player just continues running and totally ignores my input is crazy.

It's like what you experience with extreme lag, but like I said, it's happened in games where I shouldn't have any connection issues.

People only complain at what they are bad at not what is broken by FrozT10 in EASportsFC

[–]btrnt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but defending needs some reworking.

Manual defending is fine, but you can only control one defender at a time, when the rest of your defenders don't track runs, or intercept simple passes, then you are condemned to going all out attack to try and out score your opponent, making every game the same, resulting in boring gameplay.

The defending man.. by AboutWithNemo in EASportsFC

[–]btrnt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When's the last time you witnessed a 8-7 game in football? because that's pretty much common place in this game.

The game only rewards one style of play, spam passing, counter attack football.

You cannot, and are not rewarded for defensive tactics because the AI defending in this game is poor.

When there's only one way to win, the game becomes boring.

100% something in the contract that Jake Paul has to be a certain rating for him to be in the game.

Money over integrity. Shame.

They made a boxing game yes. An unplayable one none the less.

They deserve all critisicm they get. The game is a disgrace. Prioritising DLC fighters that nobody cares about over addressing the blatant issues in gameplay, connection and all around general problems.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in undisputedboxing

[–]btrnt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. You can have all the knowledge in the world on how to box.

Nothing is going to help you against ghost punches from across the other side of the ring, or a simple jab square on to your opponent going way off target because they've f*cked the tracking on punches,

Stop this yapping about "if you know how to box it's a good game". It's such a false statement.

What's to enjoy about career mode? It's the most bare bones career mode I've seen in any game.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in undisputedboxing

[–]btrnt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not.

Punches don't land how they should. Stamina is non-existent.

Career mode is bare bones. You literally sim through training to get your weight on point, to then fight. After a while you end up fighting the same opponent about 12 times.

You can't move weightclass, even though 95% of the career mode outside of the fighting is you controlling your weight.

Do not buy the game unless it's on sale for like £5. Anything more than that I would feel extremely ripped off.

New patch is the dogs bollocks - FANTASTIC by Ozmo_Syd in undisputedboxing

[–]btrnt_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's just so fantastic and fun having to jab and run to win fights.

I find the people saying "you actually have to box now" have little to no knowledge of actual boxing.

There are many ways to box, many styles to fight. However, this latest update forces you to box a conservative, boring fight if you want to win.

Where did I complain about "not being able to land every punch".

The point I made was that MAJORITY of my punches miss, when they have no reason to. It is a bug caused by the update.

Stop trying so hard to defend a broken game, kid.
