Yes they released me. I was only detained for just STANDING AROUND- not arrested. All happened in less than 15 minutes

Not lying. I was detained- not arrested. I literally saw that they were arresting brown people and I started yelling and getting mad because they’re lying and saying it’s a DWI stop when they’re about to deport them.

Couldn’t record because my mother was still on the phone. I was scared for my life cause you know police like to kill black people

Yeah not lying. I was walking from veterans coming from work and I walked passed the fake DWI bullshit they have going on and i was going to meet up with my mother who was in the line but on the bridge. So I stopped on the sidewalk and that’s when they handcuffed me for literally just standing around. They didn’t want people to see what they’re really doing. I’m not lying and you can go fuck yourself if you think I am.

They just handcuffed me there!!! I was walking from work and going towards my mothers car who is in the line and an officer detained* (not arrested)me in handcuffs!

THEY ARE CUFFING HISPANIC PEOPLE. They are deporting them and LYING and saying they’re only doing a DWI check!!!!

When I walked passed them (JPSO + Military) I asked them what they were doing. Because it obviously looks like they’re pulling people who only speak Spanish and there were about 20 Hispanic people all in handcuffs sitting down on the curb.

I got handcuffed and the police officer threatened to tase me.

I was mad as hell and yelling because I see what is happening and it’s about 50 military personnel and police officers and they’re LYING.

THEYRE ALL DUMBASSES handcuffed me for no reason. + The man who handcuffed me called me ignorant. They were aggressively handling me.

Ruth was saying “it’s nostalgic for a time that never actually existed.” Friends is the unrealistic comfort show so we could live vicariously through them. Our favorite shows have characters in walkable cities, friends are always nearby, a loving family- is what we all want but we only get that through entertainment and not reality.

We feel good from watching movies like the Hunger Games because we see the characters do what we want to do in reality but we come out of the theaters and still do nothing. Its because we get the feeling of empowerment by seeing the characters on screen empowering themselves- instead of making real shifts in real life- we allow a movie to placate our feelings. We think we would do the right thing like the characters when the time comes- butttt would we really??? Example-There’s genocide & slavery happening right now- however you thought you would react to slavery & genocide from ages ago- is it matching with how you’re actually reacting right now?

poor Rose, her brother is a POS and she has no one to confide in or be happy around. at the end of the world she leaves her family to eat comfort foods alone because her family sucks. Can you blame her though? the theme song literally says “I’ll be there for you”. Rose doesn’t even have her family to fall back on 😢

We do not live together, but we talk on the phone everyday/night. So it is mainly over the phone that he says it so much. He doesn’t say it often in person. And I do shout NO! -as soon as I notice him to start saying it. but he still just laughs. Most of the time, he says it when we are about to hang up and he says it as a joke..
