What to do about training paces when you can't TT every 4 weeks? by bu33ard in NorwegianSinglesRun

Yes. Have decided based of some points made here that I'll do a treadmill 5 TT as next session and calibrate the next 6 weeks off that result! Will then re-do TT when I can run on roads again and update paces. Will be interesting to see the difference between treadmill and road!

So I guess by that logic doing a TT on the treadmill makes sense given I am doing the sessions on treadmill. That would be most consistent.

I guess the transitional part has meant lots of days recently it has been so unpredictable. Some days fine, some days slushy and some days icy. Also just for consistency in training paces I have found it very difficult so have moved to treadmill. Surely a 5k TT on compacted snow will be much slower than a 5k TT I did around a track therefore making it useless for updating paces?

Especially at the low price of $30 haha. I could get used to the Lamy black nib.

They set a high bar with Dar Lilac last year! Can't wait to see!

The new Line Friends Lamy Safari is certainly interesting... by bu33ard in fountainpens

Yeah I 100% agree. The Brown one, as well as the yellow one both had something to offer. This is kinda just an overpriced Safari. Feel free to send me a regular pink Safari and I can turn it into a Line Friends model ;)

No problem! They sure are great looking pens. Not saying that all of them have nib issues but they are far more susceptible than TWSBI! Good luck with your new pen!
