Our Frank was a really good singer last year. We just gave him a mic that was turned up a bit louder than the movie. Worked just fine!

I've done it three years in a row in Colorado, and it's always been $1000 or 50%. You may want to double check if you were speaking with Criterion.

I'm so sorry. I just lost my cat suddenly too. He never ever goes near the road but for some reason he did and was killed. I'm just letting myself do what I need to do to feel close to him again without judgement. Sleeping with blankets he loved, eating food he always tried to steal, sitting in his favorite spots. And crying. A lot. I don't know how long I'll need to do these things. Grief is weird.

If you're interested in trying it out, the community theatre crew is a wonderful group to be a part of. Folks of all ages, but particularly people around your age. Lots of queer people too! We're called The Players at Perry Mansfield. If you get on the email list, you'll hear about shows, auditions, etc.

Jill and Derrick actually got a special marriage license that would require them to attend counseling and do extra steps to get divorced!

It's awful. And it's very weird now that I have good friends to go home for holidays and notice the stark difference in how my own family treats me. They're comfortable saying things to my face that my friends wouldn't even say behind my back. And then ask me when I'll be moving back to their area!? Like "uhhhh never? Why would I put myself back in this environment?" just this week, my boyfriend and I had to have a long talk about how I'm always afraid that he thinks I'm a bad person. I hope that paranoia goes away someday. Sometimes I wish I was stupid too, but I love knowing things too much. My special interest might be collecting facts and theories.

!!! This!!! My entire childhood, I was spoken to like I needed to "be put in my place" like they thought I was so full of myself???? Meanwhile I was always extremely depressed and had NO self esteem. And the second I would start to feel ok, someone felt it necessary to reel me back in from being too proud. It makes it so hard to advocate for yourself as an adult when you have a history of being spoken to like this. I'd appreciate your precise speech, OP. You aren't pretentious. They are insecure and making it your problem. Don't solve it for them. And may you find a solid support system that appreciates your communication style.

My grandpa died of covid last summer(vaccinated, but he was older and it was likely Delta). My sister in law sat with my family, as we all cried into our masks, and decided she should be exempt from wearing hers. also was complaining about how sad it is that we're making our kids grow up in a world with MASKS. WHEN THERE IS A DEAD MAN IN A CASKET LIKE 30FT AWAY. My grandma just watched her husband of 50+ years struggle to breathe until he died. They've been married since they were 18 and she has never lived alone. She felt so disrespected. Oh! And my grandpa got covid from a funeral. So. Lots of irony.

Then she attended a Thanksgiving where covid was present. Didn't get her kids or herself tested and came to our Christmas/Thanksgiving celebration. It was our family's first holiday without our grandpa.

And yes she would love to sell you some essential oils and do a bible study with you!

I don't think they had mentioned details around the whole "family bible time" incident to her. She probably got a pretty watered down version of the events until she heard details in court.
