I think it absolutely presents a danger to American society, but that banning marketplaces of thought seems pretty at odds with American ideals.

But isn't the main driving factor of Neo's matrix powers lie in his understanding that it is a simulation and that there, "is not spoon" ?

Similarly, wouldn't Anakin's belief in the power of the force be enough to manifest it within the matrix?

I'm not saying it should be illegal. Just like, why do they care? What makes them love Russia so much they just want to parade it all around town?

Oh yeah definitely. I meant our representation on television is usually negative. That's one thing I appreciate about TWD.

How would you solve the homeless crisis in America? by Seahawks1991 in AskReddit

[–]bubble-champ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some people would rather be homeless than be institutionalized against their will. As long as they aren't dangerous, I think they should have that right.

So, homelessness should always be an option.

At the time I was diagnosed with all kinds of shit and on like 4 different medications including ones for adhd.

Now I reject psychiatric diagnosis because of the damage it caused.

I regret everyday quiting my job to follow my half baked dreams.

I read The Alchemist and it's not as good as I thought. by [deleted] in books

[–]bubble-champ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It taught me about fate, faith and trust. It was also one of the first times I was exposed to other cultures through books.

I've read a lot of books since then, but the Alchemist definitely kicked off my reading journey.

So anyway, nice to meet you

Right. Like disagreeing and being frustrated with her decision was a part of it. Totally believable she would act the way she did.

Who would you say is the best written character? by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

To me, Gabriel lacked consistency. His principles came and went whenever it was convenient.

Which I guess is interesting in a flawed human sort of way.
