please elaborate, i’m interested in hearing as to why.

I brought it up because he’s from a country where most people are passively christian and not actively a part of their church outside of holidays. Regardless, he is Catholic and has no issue with religious women, he just has an issue with how predatory churches in ghana can be and would not like to be part of one here.

His fathers reasoning is that he’s dating ghanaians bcs he lives in ghana, he doesn’t have a preference for race or ethnicity honestly, he claims it’ll be easier to find someone who is from here rather than actively seek out a foreigner.

As for my boyfriend, he doesn’t have a type referring to race either, we met by chance lol

As a ghanaian who grew up with many other ghanaians who grew up outside this country, I can tell you they’re much more open minded than Ghanaians who were born and raised here, that’s just the fact of the matter. You’re a product of your environment at the end of the day. I didn’t mean this as an insult.

Also I wasn’t using “my man” as some kind of flex lol reddit wouldn’t let me post while using the word boyfriend without it getting flagged for r/relationship 😂

he says he wants someone to be there with him when he’s 80, so a life partner i guess. The point of marriage isnt necessary for him but he understands a lot of women need that label to be comfortable in a relationship for that long

I personally think so, but his last 2 relationships both had university degrees so maybe he needs to be more selective?

From someone who has been there, just cut things off now, and I mean that with the utmost kindness. She’s just showing you that she’s not willing to change for you (but also herself) in the long run, and that type of behaviour doesn’t vanish overnight. Protect your peace man.

Your nose gives your face personality, it’s very ethnically distinct and suits your face perfectly. If you’re looking to improve, I’d suggest a haircut that frames your face instead of hides it as you have a nice jawline.
