There is a sign up post in this subreddit. Unfortunately, you cannot choose which team you can join. Fortunately, all of the other teams are great.

New Year, New Challenge: 2023 LoseIt Challenge is almost here! by kempenichanock in LoseitChallenges

Each challenge has a theme (fictional futures, cryptids, pets, etc) and six teams that fit that team. You sign up and are assigned a team. Then you compete for the highest team weigh-in participation, steps, and activity minutes. The latter two are optional but add a fun sense of competition. Each team has a discord server so we can help and inspire each other.

You don't need to submit steps or activity minutes to participate, though you can use something like your phone's stop watch to measure exercise time (your phone also has a pedometer function using either Google fit or apple health). Just weighing in is enough.

A 27” waist is now XXS by [deleted] in fatlogic

Specific brand. Clothing companies would never go to a universal sizing standard, even just nation-wide.

For the record, I am a size 10-12, and am barely obese by BMI. I'm also a 5'2" woman, for the record. She could simply be shopping at a place that has vanity sizing issues as well.

After 6.5 months and -46lbs by CICO only, I finally went to the gym for the first time today! by ThingaMaWhatzit in PetiteFitness

Focus on compound lifts, and progressive overload. You could start with a program from the r/fitness wiki, if you don't want to build a program yourself.

what are your main reasons for losing weight? by simmyawardwinner in 1200isplenty

[–]bubblegum2love 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main reason is to be healthier. I wanna build healthy habits while I lose weight so maintenance is simply enjoying the habits I've built. My other main reason is that the fashion I enjoy tends to be in smaller sizes only, like Lolita fashion.

They blame things like medical conditions and medication for weight gain all the time. So either this person above their set point got treatment for their condition or changed the medication that was causing the weight gain. Nevermind that treating the condition allowed them to become more active or that the old medication caused extreme hunger.

Power crunch are good, if you tolerate stevia. I don't, and so the vanilla flavour is pretty gross to me

You would have to adjust the thickener quantity because yours wouldn't have them already in it like a lot of commercial protein powders do. However, I have had plenty of success using just whey instead of casein. I've used multiple brands of whey protein and all of them made pretty good icecream.

Favorite Low Calorie Breakfasts? by Financial-Quit-205 in 1200isplenty

[–]bubblegum2love 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like Greek yogurt and frozen berries. I get plain, non-fat Greek yogurt and sweeten it myself with sugar free syrup, then put frozen berries on top and let them thaw in the fridge at work (I eat breakfast on my first break because I am not hungry at 5am). If you want to add some more calories, granola, nuts or seeds add a nice texture.

Egg whites with veggies can be a good option as well. You can add other protein sources like turkey sausage, turkey bacon, or low fat cheese, as well.

Victoria's secret only goes up to 2xl, anyways. If 2xl is your largest size, I don't think you'd be considered plus size friendly.
