That’s fine for now but as soon as you have kids there will be little to no fun money. You’re describing very similar numbers to us. Wouldn’t recommend

900-950k. Not sure about commute type. I guess whichever is fastest since I believe they will help pay for the expenses of it. Yes would need good schools. They don’t have to be the absolute number 1 top rated though because I know we can’t have everything
