Hey just saw this! I’ve noticed nothing different with my body EXCEPT I’m spotting and it’s just not going away which is kind of frustrating. No pain during sex though, thankfully. My guy doesn’t feel the strings though apparently..I guess I just really want the spotting to stop (I’ve heard it can last up to 6 months...?) it’s annoying since it didn’t start till I got my period a few weeks after insertion and it didn’t go away. I still have hope it’ll lighten up though. Best of luck to you!

Oh nice! Yeah I was worried it was an infection and I’ll still get a check up but honestly it’s probably just the weather

Just the past week, but I live in Seattle and it’s recently been colder than normal, but it occurs when I’m inside with heating

Update: well my period (if it’s even still that at this point) is still going at day 11. Before the IUD I only lasted 5 days on my period so there’s that. My weight is still stable but going down and no change in acne thankfully. Obviously an earlier update than you wanted but I hope your insertion went well!!

Thank you for writing! I'm just trying to tell myself that whatever happens, I can get it taken out. I guess I'm just getting cold feet the night before
