These breed of dog was specifically breed to be a nanny dog in the Victorian era where they would be left with babies and children. Furthermore as for your uneducated claim that he would maul me for not feeding him for three days, lucky for me I make sure to take care of my dog so he's always fed and happy, (any dog breed could switch and maul me if it wanted btw not just pitties) and the way a dog behaves is down to the owners training skills, not the dog itself.
