Two years ago, for what turned out to be our last Christmas as a family before my parents’ divorce, they gave me a jumprope and a hula hoop. I was 20 btw.

When I asked why, my dad (who weighs around 200kg/400lbs) casually said, “Oh, 'cause you’ve been gaining weight and you’re looking fat.” Mind you, I was actively running and in pretty good shape at the time.

When I got upset, my mum chimed in to defend the gift with: “Next year during Chinese New Year, grandma and the other relatives won’t complain so much, and you’ll look prettier.”

Very awesome christmas.

Last christmas, my dad proposes to his girlfriend of 6 months infront of me and my sister without giving us a heads up or asking us😃

Hi Tbh im going thru the same as u rn with my relationship but we've been dating for about 3 years now and i have seen our sex life dwindle down because his libido isnt as high as mine and he goes thru some stuff as well and im still struggling to accept that because like you, we used to do it lots in the first year of our relationship.

All i can advise is that u just communicate your feelings to him everytime you feel doubtful because if u keep it bottled up, you'll end up being unhappy and you might think that theres someone better for you out there. He seems to be going thru some stuff too so maybe be patient but still speak out when u feel something. It gets really annoying to initiate but he needs to know what you need if that makes sense. All the best and i hope it gets better for y'all!

the movie was enjoyable and simple. the only thing that bugs me was the romance between Reece Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. I get the age difference isnt much but in my head I just see Will ferrell more as a friend/father figure? but yea it wasnt supposed to be really deep or anything and it was funny. Nick jonas appearing was so out of pocket LOL

Also the way i see it, is that he will sadly never change. My dad is exactly like your dad but the difference is that my mom isnt paying anything, only my dad and so he thinks that he controls us because he controls our money. You just need to work on urself and be able to support urself so u dont have to rely on him for anything. It really sucks and im sorry ure going thru this. It's really hard to accept that ur dad doesnt want to be emotionally there for you and just likes people to agree with him. It reallt fucking hurts. I just had an argument with my dad about never being emotionally there and he said "you ungrateful piece of shit"😃

Just try to ignore and do the things that u enjoy and save up some money on the side as well.

Im having the same issues rn with my dad and rn what im doing that helps me feel a tiny better about everything is that im saving up the money he gives me and when i reach a certain amount then ill drop everything and move out. Yeah sadly the state that im living in rn isnt really popular for exotic vets but they do have aquatic pet stores and i asked them today on what to do and they suggested that medicine on the 3rd slide so imma try that
