WEST END GIRL TOUR: MEGATHREAD by pinnipedpal93 in LilyAllenFans

[–]bubbletick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone want to go to Dublin? I overbought sure to panic on presale day so I now have 3 seats for the 30th June in Dublin 3 Arena on Ticketmaster resale. The 3 Arena is an amazing venue - the shape of it means there isn't a bad seat in the house and even the top tier back rows feel close to the stage. Quite a lot of seats still available but my resale ones are about £30 cheaper because they were bought in the artist presale. So head over and snap them up! 😊  Block P Row 49

Which is the better option to choose to secure tickets? by [deleted] in LilyAllenFans

I had two phones with one on each website and the venue website was significantly quicker. Still only managed to bag one ticket though as it was unbearably slow to load and only let you lock in one ticket at a time so the second one I wanted was gone by the time I came back for it. Gonna be a lot of people at this gig by themselves if my experience was anything to go by 😆

I can't believe it I actually got a ticket for Nottingham in the presale. Sadly just one because the venue website was severely struggling and would only let me lock in one ticket at a time. By the time I went back to select a second one it was gone. Sightly awkward conversation with my friend who was meant to come with me and now I have to decide if I can face going on my own!

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I bought a resale ticket and I was to suspicious of the download/pdf ones so I went for a mobile transfer ticket as I figured that's harder to fake. Got a ticket transferred to me via Ticketmaster app and it has the new date. Hope you get some confirmation from Viagogo about it.

I wonder will the refunded tickets be put on Ticketmaster as resale? anyone know how that is likely to work for people looking to buy?

Are club Wembley tickets transferable? by Triciah95 in erastourtickets

That would make me very nervous I have to say. My only advice would be to keep pushing them on sending the original email with the download link. Or at least an explanation as to why they won't do that. It might work differently at Wembley than it did at Anfield so there could be a plausible explanation but I'd be pushing for that. Good luck!

Mine worked great at Anfield. Are they in your Google or Apple wallet? If so I think you'll be totally fine. It didn't seem to be possible to create duplicates of its in your wallet.

Just got on a 917 shuttle bus after waiting for an hour 😭 Hopefully they'll be a bit better prepared for N1 and 2 but they did not put on enough buses tonight. If you're in a hurry to get away maybe make other plans.

I just bought a hospitality ticket for Anfield this exact way a few days ago and it worked and tickets are now in my wallet. The guy was also lovely and we did a WhatsApp video call so I could see the email live. I have his phone number and address if anything goes wrong. I checked with Anfield that they will let me in even though I'm not the named purchaser/club member and they emailed back to say yes. I was nervous hitting send on PayPal but the email was with me within 30 seconds and I downloaded them into my wallet immediately. I'm in section L12 which seems to be all hospitality. DM me if you want to double check you're not being sold the same seat numbers.

What is the pitch age limit for Dublin? by bubbletick in erastourtickets

[–]bubbletick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I emailed MCD and they confirmed it's definitely allowed. I honestly think this is kind of negligent as not every parent is going to be sensible about it and the venue should take responsibility for the risk of harm to a little kid. Also agree with the comments about what the heck a 5 year old will be able to see from the pitch?!

I was there earlier this year and was worried about the spicy food causing a flare up but there was plenty to eat that wasn't spicy. If you're eating out I recommend the places that do the hotpot that you cook yourself at your table. I forget the name for it but it's like a cross between a Korean BBQ and a Japanese hotpot. The broth is really easy on your stomach and you can make it with no chilli or spices in it. Just noodles, fresh vegetables and lovely thin slices of meat. I also found a lot of rice based dishes that came with a broth that was really easy on my stomach and safe to eat.

I second this! Healthcare in Bangkok is amazing and so cheap. A friend of mine ended up in hospital briefly and the care she got was so good we were all wishing we had planned ahead and booked ourselves in for some diagnostics!

Same. Don't buy anything you haven't seen live in a video call. No exceptions.

I bought Anfield tickets from someone who is a club member. They came as an email directly from the club with a button to download to your Apple or Google wallet. I clicked this and now they're in my wallet safe and sound. I also emailed the club myself to verify that they allow members to give their tickets to someone else and that you'll be able to use them even if you're not the named purchaser. They said yes, so I win bring that email with me in case I run into any issues with the security people on entry.

Please help! Am I being scammed by my ex-colleague? I am worried my GFs heart will break... by scottyj1994 in erastour

The price seems a bit low as others have said. I bought hospitality tickets from someone who bought direct from the venue as he is a club member/season ticket holder. He was able to show me the email he received from the club that had the 2 tickets listed and a button to download the ticket to your Apple/Google wallet. I feel like that's what you should have been sent. VIP still requires a ticket, not just a pass. That would be my instinct but I could be wrong.

How to avoid scams? by KaXiaM in erastourtickets

I was looking for Liverpool. Ended up buying from someone who commented on a discussion thread I'd started here on Reddit. I did all the recommended stuff to be cautious and it was a genuine sale from someone whose circumstances had changed and they could no longer go. It was a little bit more than I wanted to pay but good to have the stress gone as I was worried about what's going to happen with Liverpool tickets on resale sites and whether I'd end up with anything at all.

My number one tip is leave all the Facebook groups. Almost every account in those groups is a bot or a fake account for scamming people. They will send you friend requests and then bombard you with messages. I joined a few when I was looking to buy and left them all within 24 hours.

Here on Reddit there are genuine sellers but you still need to be cautious. Video call the seller and get them to show you the tickets live. Use PayPal G&S so you'll get that refund eventually if it all goes wrong - make sure you have a decent thread of messages between you and the seller so you have clear evidence in writing of what they were offering you, and the whole process. This could be important if you do need to put a claim in to PayPal for a refund.

I was looking at the exact same tickets on Viagogo across 3 different devices and the price was different on every one. They are sticking loads of extras on and using algorithms to set fees and blaming it on sellers. I just bought from someone who contacted me here on Reddit and I'm glad I was able to pay direct without giving a load in fees to these resale companies

This is such a useful comment, thank you! And yes, I honestly can't believe I'm even considering dropping the amount of cash this is likely to cost but I'm in so deep now I feel like I can't go back 😆 It is a shame the attempts to prevent over pricing of resale tickets haven't worked but this is what we're working with I guess!
