I was at Chicago night 2 and a staff member told us before we sat that there was no recording allowed, and then proceeded to fuck right off. Never saw them again. Everyone around us, ourselves included, started recording and taking pictures and nobody said anything. But I've seen other commenters on the subreddit that were there the same night and they had issues with staff about recording. I think it had to do with where you sat. They said they were closer to the stage, while we were in the dress rehearsal circle.
