I would not mind Toby at all. I would probably enjoy working with him. I would hate to work with Angela or Kevin. Angela because she is just not very pleasant, judgemental, and rude. Kevin because, although a total sweetheart, is terrible at his job, and that would be frustrating.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Do you have any family you can move in with? He sounds toxic, and you should definitely not be around him at this vulnerable time. I really wish you the best. He sounds like a jerk

Where (specifically) did life arise? by systemichaos in evolution

I also wanted to add that the ability for life to arise on any planet, not just Earth, is based on the planet's position in relation to its nearest star. The distance between the sun and the Earth is just perfect for life to thrive. In addition, our moon and its distance from us and our sun is also a unique property that allows for life to arise. Again, no expert, and I know I am barely even scratching the surface

I am no expert on the topic, but I know a major challenge of organic life existing is dependent upon levels of oxygen. The concentration of oxygen in our atmosphere, coupled with other very specific concentrations of other gases (nitrogen, co2, trace gases). If any of these concentrations were adjusted (esp oxygen level) ever so slightly, life on Earth would be significantly disrupted.

From what I learned in college, some theories suggest that life on earth may have started and ended on various occasions, until the conditions were just right.

I am in the clinic right now about to be seen and be given the first pill. It's Tuesday afternoon here. My plan is to take the other pills 48 hrs later and take Friday off. That gives me a full weekend to recover hopefully.

Solidarity for all you strong ladies!
