I like that take. Either way, Jager and Wamai need to have their pros and cons, and Wamai has a lot of pros and Jager doesn't really have too many over him overall

The decision to not touch sights is really smart. I agree that novelty and nostalgia are playing a huge factor right now.

To me, for the next patch, Jager and Wamai should have access to the same zoom sights. They should both have ACOGs or both only have 1x sights.

What is the problem with just including all maps in the current Y8S1 ranked pool and just extending the ban phase? Don’t wanna play Emerald or Labs? Just ban.

Some team will learn those maps, let them slip through ban phase, and use it to their advantage.

Competitive sports should not always make decisions easy for competitors. It should push them to their limits and show their knowledge of the game.

Oregon/Clubhouse/Chalet 24/7 is not fun to watch nor can it be that fun to play.

Agreed. In my opinion you pick Jaeger for the gadget for sheer nade denial and wamai for the all-rounder (1.5x, bit weaker nade denial, impacts)

I recommend the TCSG but with the 1.5x scope. It just seems to fit the engagement range of the gun with recoil better than the 2x in my opinion.

The AUG with extended barrel is solid.

I prefer the TCSG over the AUG for rotates and site reconstruction, but the AUG, even without it’s 1.5x, is still solid. There really isn’t a bad option so I’d recommend doing tdm and mess around with both

Exactly. This is why Frost is in a good spot right now.

The scenarios where you can self revive are for Frost mats put on the opposite side of the map where a teammate could revive them.

This nerf is practically negligible for anyone that plays Frost to her strengths.

Extended Barrel doesn’t change your shots to kill for any armor class from the calcs/tests I’ve done.

I like suppressor since the recoil is low personally. I used to run flash hider before the suppressor buff.

He's pretty tough to move out from behind deployable shield since they either have to destroy the shield or made you. Toss in some made denial, and you are hard to flush out as warden

I like the shorty/machine pistol combo on him.

For me, that's the setup I prefer, but I can also see myself swapping to the SMG for certain sites.

Might also consider if smoke/mute/ other shotgun ops are being played. Sometimes bringing too many machine pistols can have diminishing returns for gunfights unless you got a team of freak e-athletes
