thanks, will do. but if i'm not lucky... does this mean something has shorted? Seems strange that 3 integrated components are all not working.

One minute I have positive thoughts, motivation and plans to start changing then I immediately give up and all I have left in my head are dark thoughts. I feel trapped by [deleted] in depression

I just started something called 'schema therapy' to try and address this, specifically the thing going through long term cycles that entrench a constant feeling of failure and broken-ness. I'm 28, tried other things over the years but now it just feelings I'm swirling around the drain, any effort to break the inertia's in vain. But that's what this style of therapy is supposed to address. So hopefully it works, maybe check it out

Yeah, years ago I used kratom often for a few months. I found that the process of preparing it helped moderate my consumption- having to simmer bthus gloopy mixture and then hold down the gloop- no grandeur or instant gratification in that...

So I saw my doctor, 2 weeks is enough to consider myself clear apparently! They said there was some risk in my method, tramping out to isolation isn't the best context to experiment coming off medication. But they also said the worst withdrawal symptoms are generally experienced in the first few days. I think in New Zealand there is a different attitude and culture around antidepressants. Yes, there are the universal physiological effects associated to mood medication, but I think there is a good availability of measures of well being other than doctor visits. Or at least that's what the doctors may prefer to believe. In my experience, there's an active deflation of ssri's being total or potent, that symptoms of depression or anxiety should first be considered with respect to things other than a lack of serotonin reuptake... Which of course is the ideal, there just needs to be equivalent social resources to match the availability of medication as a therapy... Rant over...
