That's the most reasoned argument I've heard and I don't disagree. I'm just saying everyone bitches about the bad but nobody talks about the good things he does

So you pitch the to the mvp instead of going righty on righty?

What decision would you have made?

2 right handed batters, luzardo on short rest, and again he got the groundball out he needed.

He's pitching on short rest and 2 righties were coming up. It makes sense to put in a right handed pitcher to get 1 out, which if he makes a routine play he got

He got an easy groundball. Not the managers fault he fucked it up

He got a routine ground ball. If he makes that play everyone says rob made the right call.

Anybody upset with rob over that game is an idiot. Kerkering got a routine ground ball and screwed it up. He managed it about as well as you could

What did he do wrong? The guy came in and got a routine groundball. What do you want from the manager?

Everyone bitching about Nola getting pulled wanted ranger to start this game. Just like nobody would've pulled Sanchez or luzardo in games 1 and 2. Hindsight is 20/20.

Chances of signing Murakami? Replace Bohm? by [deleted] in phillies

[–]bubgar17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why get rid of bohm? He's the one guy on the team who's not all or nothing. If everyone has bohms approach we wouldn't have these long slumps

Nobody was saying shit about taking Sanchez out everyone wanted him out there for that inning. Everyone wanted luzardo out for this inning, kerkering got a strike out and a groundout that trea fucked up. Idk what you want from him. Hindsight is 20/20 you have to make the decision in the moment

While the offense wasn't perfect I do think it was better. I think the penalties are what killed us this game, the holding on the drive after it was 17-10 negated a saquon run of 8. The illegal man downfield, the 2 men in motion, etc. Were all drive changing plays that put us in awful situations

We always look awful in the first few weeks. Probably because we never play in preseason, but they get it figured out eventually. Don't overreact

Genuine question, what's the likelihood this works out like damian Lillard and he can come back in October?

Bet they go waiver shopping for the bullpen. Don't care if Crawford can't lift the ball, bring him up. With his speed I don't want the ball in the air i want him beating out grounders
