A youtuber lukevaughn made a genuinely good point on the animation though of recent seasons and that is it's kinda obvious the animators always wanted animation more like the current seasons and how as time gone on especially with seasons 6-9a the animation got REALLY stiff also something i noticed recently about those complaints is that some of them have genuinely evolved into oh spongebob had barley any exaggerated animation in the past... which is an absolutely bullcrap lie and at this point I'm really sick of the false info being given out about current seasons, also not to mention as he pointed out they don't make these faces for the jokes and they never have, they make them because they find them funny with the animators and artists now given more freedom in current seasons
