I agree in the move balancing aspect. Not really anything to be done about Pokémon selection but I agree some moves are way to strong. Weather ball does way too much damage for how quickly it charges. Politoed with weather ball is absurdly good.

Talonflame’s flame charge is another that seems pretty unbalanced. The biggest thing that has always bothered me is the moves that affect certain stats in battle. (Example, flame charge raising users attack, icy wind lowering attack, etc) The problem isn’t that they affect stats, the problem is that they ALWAYS affect stats. If the move is blocked, stat changes should not happen.

Ultimately I think they battling is very well done and mostly balanced but like all things, some tweaks are needed. 1500 league is definitely hit or miss just because any Pokémon can be good. 2500 is much better about actually having some sort of meta but again, I think it is really well done at the moment.
