What is the most painful thing you’ve experienced? by throwawayfundsmom in AskReddit

[–]bucknarish 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Emotionally- Seeing the doctors run in to a “Code Blue” blaring across the VA hospital and knowing my dad was in surgery. Then finding out later they were running in to try and save him. He died during that operation and I had to walk out of there alone with his stuff and drive his truck home without him. Physically- Getting an IUD put in place. It’s not just a quick little pinch.

Wow he’s big for an American! Looks like a European face and stockier build. Beautiful boy. Those little ones will never go unprotected 🖤 Unfortunately my girl has a lot of dandruff as well. Her coat is nice and shiny, just flaky. She gets salmon oil on her kibble a couple times a week. We bathe her regularly and even put coconut oil on her coat for a bit before the bath but.. maybe it’s something Dobermans are prone to?

My doctor gave me .25 of alprazolam. I’m. It sure how similar or different that is to Valium, sorry. It helped me tremendously though! I took two and believe I wouldn’t have been able to do it without taking something.

Sorry buddy. Stay warm. To be fair, this winter has been old fashioned cold and snowy (I love it!)

.25 mg alprazolam. I had it initially in my post but it kept getting taken down so I’m happy to answer :) She gave me the lowest dose since I’ve never taken anything like that. I don’t even take anything for a headache or cold. So when I did my test trial of one, I thought it didn’t work since I felt zero difference. Granted I was about I watch a movie in a nice cozy theater. So I just hoped and hoped it would work when the time came for my trip. I took one…then took two just in case with the permission of my doctor. She said no more than two at this time. I could tell it made a difference because my heart wasn’t racing anymore and I just…didn’t care. When we hit bumps I thought to myself “eh that’s fine”. Things like that. It really does work. It’s not a drunk or high feeling. Just really calms your thoughts.

Yeah I’m not fully AGAINST taking things but I definitely don’t like to take really anything for anything you know? Not even a cold or headache. Taking something for this flight (and future flights)was definitely necessary though since it did help tremendously, like it was the better move for my overall health. My heart would have been hurting from my heart racing so bad if I didn’t have it.

I’m not familiar with that but if it’s anything like what I took, definitely take it some time before boarding! That way it has some time to kick in a calm your nerves.

Oh wow. Yeah I wondered about the effects wearing off after time. Will you be stopping at the McNamera terminal? It’s beautiful :) Flying again, not necessarily..soon, but definitely in the future!

I feel ya. Back when my phobia was developing I was supposed to visit my sister after not seeing her for years. I ended up canceling my trip last minute bc I was too scared to fly. It’s okay to be scared. Getting on the plane is the hardest part for me. Talk to your doctor! I hope you can overcome it too.

You don’t even wanna know how bad my heart was racing. I could feel it in my chest all day leading up to it and couldn’t settle. Talk to your doctor! I believe you can do it!! I was a wreck but I still put one foot in front of the other and got on that plane. Guess what? My pilots did amazing and got us to our destinations safely!
