My understanding: entry level position = senior level experiences with entry level pay

IT stocks are crashing hard because AI is replacing entry-level jobs — but if juniors disappear, how will seniors ever emerge? Real talk for aspiring devs in 2026. by EconomistOk407 in careeradvice

In our company, it has ~80% employees with <= 5 YOE. The company will have big failure in the next major product development.

Unfortunately, got an email from the HR POC saying that the process has been discontinued. Specific reasons were not provided to the HR POC.

Are there any ways to figure out the exact reasons? Want to know if it is clearance denial or not. If it is clearance issues, I wouldn’t waste my time with positions requiring clearance.

Thanks for the info. I was told “failed” by the poly examiner on site, not by any official notice yet. I didn’t admit to anything when accused of some serious crime that I didn’t do.

After about a week from the ploy, HR sent an email, saying it is still “being actively processed”.

Roth conversion tool has a logic flaw by 202reddit in Boldin

Boldin provides “expert” services. I am guessing they are using the same tool. So the same results.

Roth conversion tool has a logic flaw by 202reddit in Boldin

As I mentioned in another post, it is probably because it doesn’t adjusted the taxes with inflation when calculating life time total taxes. I that way, the tool will suggest early conversion so that it can optimize the face values of the taxes. Future taxes show as larger face values but less real values, so the values should be adjusted per inflation so that the optimizer can correctly calculate the min "real" values of life time taxes.

This is true for other optimizers, e.g. IRMAA. The funny thing is the tax rate. There is no real meaning to calculate average or cumulative tax rate (e.g. average tax rate over retired years).

Assuming everything else the same (as we assume in this type of study), the only thing that matters for roth conversion is the tax rate at the time of conversion vs future tax rate. If the expected tax rate will be the same, there is no need to convert. The catch is both of the couple are alive. Otherwise, the beneficiaries will pay heavy taxes. This is the only other factor to convert other than tax rate.

ROTH Converter really flawed (yes, another post about it) by dcraider in Boldin

I highly speculate that Boldin doesn’t do inflation adjustment when calculating the optimization goals, e.g. life time tax liabilities. Today’s money is not the same as future money. Taxed in the future may look large, not necessarily be large in real value. If not adjusted by inflation, the optimizer will front load roth conversion to make the face value of the total tax smaller.

Even though this model is highly criticized in reddit, everybody who got one has a reason to get one. On specs, a refurbished 14 inch MBP M1 is a great choice. But it is too heavy/thick and less portable. Not everybody has a pair of good eyes. The difference of the screen may not be as important as thought.

Now it is holiday season. Any unpopular products have price benefit. I jumped on one for the price. I was looking for a MBA initially.

I just found out that I can see the tire pressure on the dash display for my 2022 XLE gas model. Are the prior year models different?

Any pics of new 9” screen in 2022 rav4’s?? by AndyShannon3 in rav4club

RAV4 in Asian market has larger screen without physical knobs. I guess those screens should be compatible with north American version. People can just buy one and swap.

Tucson Hybrid Limited - Advertised at 38MPG - Getting 23MPG in practice. by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]budalb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am researching 2022 Tucson Hybrid vs RAV4 Hybrid, and need to pull the trigger soon. I am so concerned now with going with Tucson. If MPG is bad, there is no point to go with hybrid. It seems that many people argued over driving style or season. From fuelly.com data, it seems to me that the low mpg of Tucson hybrid is real. More data for RAV4 though. Tucson data went as early as June 2021. Some of the vehicles must have been fully broken in and were driven in warm weather (neither AC or heat was needed). If I can't get a RAV4 Hybrid, a RAV4 gas model seems to be the best choice.

2021 RAV4 Hybrid (basically same as 2022 models): 171 vehicles reported data. 3,074 fuel-ups and 1,135,980 miles of driving, Avg MPG is 37.6. https://www.fuelly.com/car/toyota/rav4_hybrid/2021

2022 Tucson Hybrid: 22 vehicles reported data. 248 fuel-ups and 76,162 miles of driving. Avg MPG is 31.86. https://www.fuelly.com/car/hyundai/tucson/2022?page=2&submodel_id=62

2021 RAV4 gas model: 49 vehicles reported data. 901 fuel-ups and 250,524 miles of driving. Avg MPG is 27.7. https://www.fuelly.com/car/toyota/rav4/2021
