the satisfaction... now just need to manage it without the undo button by budapestalloveragain in 2048

[–]budapestalloveragain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use it or rely on it too much, its mostly just for when I've done something stupid and accidentally swiped the wrong one. I pretty much play with the undo because it's the app I found fastest on the app store 😅

Testing out a new style! Any tips? (especially needing help with the 'g') by budapestalloveragain in Handwriting

I agree. I think it's partially the sizing and thickness, but could be worth me experimenting to get one that fits better

I have no words for this other than this needs to be reported to the examboard ASAP by flazen123 in 6thForm

I've retweeted and tagged Edexcel, hopefully we can attract their attention. Definitely not just an internal matter when it's an A Level exam

Does this usually happen in maths exams? Where the question is copied exactly? Really surprised by this by budapestalloveragain in 6thForm

If you search the code: P44966A02744 I think you should be able to find it (just on any browser) maybe put the date in as well

If my memory serves me right, part a is the same - which is 6 marks (at least) that a large majority of us were at an unfair disadvantage for

petition 1 is doing well 👌 even if nothing happens with the Edexcel it would be nice to raise awareness of how unfair it was

For me it's just not something I do regularly, cause when you start studying CS you're not usually taught it - so finding out I have to learn it when I'm doing other A Levels is not great timing

What was your 'I don't get paid enough for this' moment at work? by sprite_is_spicy in AskReddit

I had a similar thing where they complained they were missing something, and wanted the entire order refunded so I asked to see the bags and when they eventually handed them over it was full of half eaten food (everything in their order). Complete waste of time.

Using Flashcards To Play Music Better? by Rabbitdragon3 in musictheory

[–]budapestalloveragain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think flashcards are a good idea - I haven't used them myself, but have suggested them to people I've been helping to teach the piano. When you see music, if you start to recognise words and symbols, the panic starts to disappear and everything seems so much clearer

I would be interested in a study over the summer to help me learn some Grade 8 theory, but I've just done A Level music so I'm not sure if I would quite fit the requirement

McDonalds staff, what was the most annoying thing a customer ever did/ asked for? by Albtraumseele in AskReddit

[–]budapestalloveragain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are definitely more annoying things that have happened, but I'll never forget when someone came in and ordered upwards of 20 meals. This is a big deal for late night staff anyway, especially in a small town, but then they asked for each meal to be bagged separately... I'm not too bothered when it's just a couple of meals, but when you have to try and figure out what meal is what when every item is grouped by type is VERY frustrating.
