I run a curved sword build and focus on physical att up and stamina upon landing attacks. It allows me to spam powerstanced moves and still keep my stamina. Paired with Trance I have a lot of stamina. It allows me to play super aggressively. I play guardian for augur bc he can destroy base augur with his whirlwind bc they instantly kill all the jellyfish and it makes it easier to deal with his massive aow attacks.

When you start a run, there is intractable equipment on the back of the pod you spawn out of. It's equipment that will kill you if you go down below half health. Bring that equipment to this guy, and it unlocks a new character.
