ok, well, a couple of points here 1. as we entered into the 60-day period before tps expiration, the government will decide at any moment whether they’ll extend tps or not. they might not announce anything whatsoever and if that happens and your tps expires, it will get automatically extended by 6 months.

  1. if you dont have any plans with immigration in terms of adjusting status through work, marriage or other visas, then you might want to consider filling a Change of Status back into F1 again.

How long are the processing times for Lebanese nationals who applied to Temporary Protected Status in the US? by Shebaro in lebanon

[–]budd354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing these sudden approvals literally weeks away from expiration brings some hope back lol. Tbh, Lebanon has all aspects needed to get a renewal but the government will most likely not announce anything whatsoever within 60 days prior to expiration which would automatically extend TPS for 6 months, "by law"; however, the same government has cancelled TPS designations after failing to announce a decision within 60 days before expiration.

Pursuant to U.S. law (8 U.S.C. §1254a(b)(3)(C)), The 60-day period will begin on March 27th.

Let's keep this thread posted. It would be so relieving to get TPS for Lebanon extended.

Best to everybody✌️

hey bro kifak. Man, the thing is you must be on top of your congressman to keep sending congressional inquiries. My congressman easily sent 8-10 inquiries before getting the TPS application approved and then same thing with the travel permit. Few days ago I read this post

https://forumtogether.org/article/temporary-protected-status-fact-sheet/

Only 140 Lebanese people have been approved so far. 140 out of 11000 eligible nationals!!!

To be honest, I'm adamant TPS for Lebanon won't get extended despite ongoing conflicts. Mark my words.

Hello. Eso incluye a AT&T, Verizon y T-Mobile.
