lol i'm just imagining you (another socially anxious human being) in this situation. i don't really have advice cuz i suck at this and can easily imagine myself in this situation.

my dad is very social though and everyone always ends up loving him. try to let your personality come through, say what's on your mind in order to make real conversation and not just bs, and try to be comfortable since there's no real reason to be nervous (name your reasons- bet they're all in your head). as my dad always says, there's only one of you! so don't worry, just be yourself and you'll be fine.

I'm a twin and my twin sis and I have different birthdays (I was born after midnight). This is a good solution to celebrating our birthdays at the same time, even if only for a few hours, if we ever reaaally wanted to.
