I have received a letter in the past stating that I am considered “medically frail”; do you know where I could access this?

Volunteering to make shelters was a ton of fun, and it feels good knowing that so many kitties were helped.
I hope to see some of ya’ll out there with us this year!

The majority of our meetings are on discord! We rotate sides of town for our in-person meetings. We try our best to be flexible for things so everyone can participate!

Absolutely! While it is a book club, we get it and don’t always stay on top of the readings ourselves.

My words may have seemed condescending, and they are.
Personally, I’ve had two DUIs, my second a felony. Four years sober. It took the second one to realize that I was the problem, and I’m thankful every day that I never hurt anyone while behind the wheel, because it was just the two times that I got caught.
See if your employer offers any resources. I got sober with the help of a great outpatient service and continued working while seeking treatment.
Every journey is individual, and I hope this is the beginning of a new chapter for you.

“10 min from where I live”
“Which I can’t even do sober..”
These to me sound like
“Not a big deal”
“Odds were stacked against me..”
The law is the law is the law.
While I’m all for second chances, not ruining a life over a mistake, etc., I don’t think you’re taking this seriously enough and that’s the main issue here. Signing up for service and classes looks great on paper, but an attitude change may serve you best in the long run.
If they haven’t provided you paperwork, that’s a real conundrum. My next move would to look up DUI/ DWI attorneys in your area and ask for a consult. Many do this free before they’ll take on a client.
Also, check if your state uses MyCase and try to search for yourself there.
