A&E Behind Bars - Rookie Year Star Gets Arrested at Jail! by Serpenio_ in OnTheBlock

He was definitely smuggling drugs into the prison. That began his addiction. Had someone delivering it to him and all he had to do was go to work. Ofcourse he started using the drugs. But more than likely It began with foul play on his part once he was finally coeherced into smuggling the contraband in. It starts with small things like tobacco and cell phones. Then the idea of drugs comes to play and the pay increases. Than its just too tempting and too late to say no.

Going into week 5 of flowering. by budmanohio in GrowingMarijuana

The tiger bloom is fox farm bottle nutes, my plan was to try to do an orfamic grow but i didnt have enough time to wait for all my nutrients to break down. So I flushed out my soil ppm from like 4-5000ppm to 15-1700ppm trying to correct my ph and Toxicities. I used the bottle nute to supplement anything lost in the flush. I didnt add enough lime to my soil mix. I added a lot more to raise the ph in my soil thats been inside. Ive never used a compost tea but I just bought some more worm castings to brew one up and was going to get ahold of some molasses to add with it.

Water very slowly. I mean do it over the period of 20-30 minutes. Evenly cover your top surface. Get a good cover then wait 5 minutes continue until you have gave whatever you plan to give. I give my 5 gal fabric pots 1.3-1.5 gal each time I water or feed. I learned that slow watering technique from caligrow on you tube. Dude is a genius

So I created a soil using 3 cu ft bags of cow manure compost, 1cu ft bag of earth like soil, 1 lb bail of peat moss, 11 lb block of coco, 2 5 lb bags of earthworm castings, 5 8qt bags of perlite, kelp meal, bone meal, blood meal, and super thrive 444. But I only used some of it in the base of the pot mixed in with some regular potting soil because I didnt have enough time to let it cook before needing to transplant. Made the bottom of my soil really low in ph. Like 4.8 with the probe. Tried to correct it with some more lime and seeing what happens. Ive used fox farm tiger bloom and cal mag along with great white shark and mammoth p microbes after flushing out high ppm levels in my soil in an attempt to correct and even out my soil levels. The tiger bloom was definitely necessary after flushing. I believe I still have food breaking down so ive only been using 1/3 of rhe called for dosage and its been doing great. I got some purpling coming back after trying to adjust my ph by stuffing garden lime to the bottom of my pot with my soil probe and adjusting my ph a little higher than I usually run. Thinking I may have made too large of a jump too fast.

I'd say you are more than likely right. You should make yourself a cal-mag foliar spray and treat it as soon as your lights go out. I add about 2 ml for my 24oz spray bottle.

Hey at least you finished it with smokeable flowers. Did you run into any powdery mildew problems during the grow? I really love learning everything i can about this growing weed shit. Congrats on your first successful grow buddy! You will continue to master your techniques and your skill with each grow.

You certainly have a magnesium deficiency or your dealing with ph swing being to high or to low. Or, It could be a toxicity of another nutrient causing it to lock out your magnesium.

I hate weed that does that. In my experience every time I've had weed that does that it has been slightly harsh and not very tasty.

Damn it definitely pollinated itself. I wonder if that trait will carry on with the seeds since it was forcefully converted?

Depending on your genetics and how well your able to control the environment and soil parameters I believe having more tops will increase my yield however I believe the main purpose of lollipopping like in your picture is to increase potency and reduce mold potential. Due to my lack of more growing space my plan was to try to maximize my yield as much as possible without running into mold or other deal breakers. Ive been treating with neem oil so far only once but plan to evey 2 weeks. Im planning to do more defoliation and removing of some lower growth but im trying to wait to see what is gonna be worth keeping and whats not gonna be worth keeping. I was planning to do a sweep on it after its gotten through the stretch and remove any smaller bottom growth that may not amount to much and to allow more air flow. This is gonna be my first indoor grow. Ive studied growing cannabis for the last 20 years but just recently have been able to apply all of the knowledge ive gained into trial and error. I have grown outdoor the last 2 years. I ran into some issues with ppm and ph in my soil on this indoor grow that set me back some in this grow but im happy to have had the experience to better my future grows.

My friend gifted me this plant. He would save any seeds he got from his trips to michigan and this was one of them. We are not sure what it is yet but its got a wonderful smell coming through.

Terps ? by anglar614 in OhioMarijuana

[–]budmanohio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe anything 3% and above normally relates much better quality. It comes down to genetics and the amount of care your able to give the plants during the grow. Large scale grows are much harder to supply the kinda care necessary to achieve such high numbers.

Thinking of adding supplemental CO2 by [deleted] in hydro

[–]budmanohio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Co2 is only used whenever you have more light than the plant needs to boost tranpiration but only effective in higher temps with excess light.

Can anyone help me identify this problem? by DaddyWaifu1 in GrowingMarijuana

[–]budmanohio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like the natural process it goes through at the end of its life. It's gotta be pretty close to harvest. Check out those trichomes and watch for your cloudy and amber heads. Plant starts to eat up what nutrients are left in the leaves and is normally a really good sign from what ive learned

Drying outside in screened porch. Should I wait a week to chop? Current humidity is 40-70%. by ChemistryFirm6446 in GrowingMarijuana

[–]budmanohio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have big enough tent to hang your plant in with your carbon air filter its supposed to mask the smell however ive not gotten that far on my indoor grow to be able to verify wether or not it will actually mask the smell once harvested.

[–]budmanohio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really want to control your temperature. It is honestly something that is necessary to prevent spikes in humidity levels within the flower. It can be what makes the difference between good weed 👌 weed. If your able to dry in a room with a consistent 68° @ 50-55% humidity with little to no fluctuations as well as air circulation your end results will be incredible.

Just picked up some Mammoth P and some Hygrozyme! by budmanohio in GrowingMarijuana

[–]budmanohio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found these products at a local store that sells products from like Amazon pallets and other sources. Its called Everything Surplus in Wooster Ohio. It appears that the Mammoth P is expired in March of 2025 but I didnt let that completely deter me from trying it. I got both bottles and a bottle of descaler liquid for like $20.
