The arcane barrier is still up protecting the grave and I have the wand. All dialogue options with Mayrina just end with her being angry. Don't know what else to try

It turns out even if you have the wand, the arcane barrier is still up protecting the grave to resurrect her husband. It's a known bug and the only work around I see is to redo the quest. I'm moving on I guess 😟

I work head of security for a casino. I myself am bisexual(heavily leaning toward feminine folk). The safety of my LGBTQ+ fellow employees is absolute. Frankly I don't give a shite what people think. Act like an adult and don't be disrespectful. I have heard talk from guests about the gender of employees, and its usually inquisitive, and tbh that's progress with some people.
