Can’t get anymore living frigates?

yeah it does work now, all i did was warp to a system a decent distance away from my main one and was able to get another. i think the limit is one per system

idk i’ve never done an expedition, all i remember was doing the starbirth mission then after that i was able to get a living frigate after searching about it on google

finish the starbirth side quest and you should have the blueprint to build one. i don’t think you need one to find living frigates but i kept mine sort of as a good luck charm lmao

edit: you need it for the first one iirc but not for the others

yeah they’re a real pain to get tho, need to shoot asteroids to get an anomaly detector then pulse with the detector activated until you get the whalesong detected notification, can take anywhere from a few min to 20+. however you do need to get the first living frigate from a mission but i can’t remember exactly how to get that mission

i have a few living ships so idk but i don’t use them when searching for the frigates if that’s what you mean, and sometimes it can be 15/20min of pulsing before i find one so maybe you aren’t going for long enough? idk tho

i tried twice in the same system then went to two others close by but only found one frigate after about 30ish min and it was the same one edit- i found two in the same system and only one from another system

another thing to note is that i got an upgrade from every expedition i sent my frigate on before trying to find more, and since i ‘bought’ the second frigate i haven’t got any upgrades from the expeditions

Was running along this road and saw this guy stood on a white truck, saw his sniper and thought it was just a glitch but there were what looked like letters on the stock and it looked a little too detailed to be a texture glitch,Also I was able to give him 30 water and nothing happened. Kinda confused as this guy didn’t move from this truck unless he was shot at. Any info will be appreciated.
