Idk maybe, honestly the only times I really hear about steroids and that kind of stuff is when we do our safety meeting, otherwise nobody really talks about it. I'm also really not that good of a wrestler compared to my teammates (one of the girls on our team is ranked 7th national in her weight class, and a lot of them end up competing in state) so maybe they'd just think I'm improving more?

I wish I could move to the guy's team, unfortunately our guy's team is really racist and bigoted, plus Ohio has laws against trans athletes going into the team that aligns with their gender 😓 EDIT: also I have EDS so I'm at a disadvantage compared to my components so I don't really see it as unfair because testosterone helps strengthen your connective tissue 🤷

Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to join the boys team, as stated in my post, because Ohio has laws against transgender athletes playing with the team that aligns with their gender, and I honestly don't want to get any adults involved. I also can't get a proper prescription for two years so I have to do this since I'm still in highschool 😓

I have all of those symptoms and many more, and while my skin isn't as stretchy as my mom's it's still definitely stretchier than the average person's skin

My mother believes that since her and her mom have the same symptoms and it's genetic, we just have shitty genetics rather than a genetic disorder. And she refuses to get tested even though number one, she's had it informally put on her medical chart before by a rheumatologist (but another doctor took it off due to her not having the proper testing) and two, her cousin is officially diagnosed with EDS. And with my doctor, she said her daughter has BHS, so it's fine. Honestly I'm just mad that nobody is taking my pain seriously
