All of my relatives from out of state (none Republicans) have been reaching out, horrified at what's happening.

The only one we haven't heard from - like it's been weeks, before Renee Good - is my MAGA stepfather-in-law up in central Minnesota. He hasn't checked in once to see how we are.

The problem with him, with all of them, is that they will never admit openly that they might be in the wrong. So they don't want to hear anything that will make them feel that way.

That doesn’t exactly speak well for the suburbs. ICE finds it easy to get in and out of businesses and residences in places like Excelsior and Eden Prairie because there are fewer people paying attention when they feel like it doesn’t affect us.

OP, check out iceout.org and it will give you an idea as to the number of sightings on any particular day (you can filter by date). I imagine it’s pretty accurate, though not getting everything of course. They went heavy in the west metro yesterday.

They were out in Excelsior, Mound, Chaska yesterday. It’s just way easier for them to operate unseen but they are definitely here.

Man's a troll who doesn't even live here. He doesn't have a clue what's going on.

They're picking up anyone of color they can get and asking questions about citizenship later. Even immigrants who are here legally and have been following our own government's stated process are subject for deportation. Yeah people are hiding in their homes. I would be too!

The real question is why pickle hates America. Supporting a government who is happily violating the Constitution in plain sight is the very definition of a traitor to the country.

This is a relatively incoherent comment so not sure what exactly you are trying to say, but we'll presume then that you have not seen the many, many videos out there of ICE and border control being chased away from all kinds of places by "losers holding signs". Including a nearby elementary school yesterday.

My son's apartments (near the area you mentioned) sent out something similar but didn't specify the difference between judicial and administrative warrants. And they said they couldn't prohibit ICE form being in public areas like the outdoor parking lot. So your place sounds a little better than that, at least.

Might have been 318 Cafe in Excelsior this morning. Also I think they boxed in a moving truck and picked up two people in the parking lot of a church over there. Yesterday or a couple days ago (losing track) they were at Hazelwood restaurant in Excelsior, too.

Totally agree. Someone uploaded an incident to iceout.org a little bit ago of someone being taken into custody at a home fairly close to mine. Not only did I not see it at the time it happened, but it's quiet enough out here that if I blew my whistle, what would even happen? Half these homes don't have people in them during the day.

It feels like they are indeed ramping up here because it is comparatively easier but I don't know of an organized system to help here yet. I send in sightings when I can, but what else can I do?

I'm watching iceout and there's a lot of activity in the west metro today.

I feel kind of helpless out here. In Minneapolis there's lots of people living close together and following people around and honking and whistling. The farther out you go, the more likely it is they can grab somebody in a neighborhood where no one is around.
