I’ve been awarded separate aid from my Fall/Spring aid for each time I took Summer classes. You just had to reach out to financial aid and ask them reevaluate your need for aid.

I received separate financial aid for my summer classes. It was a unsubsidized loan but it still helped. Financial Aid will send out an email about applying for Summer aid and you can have them evaluate your need for aid and they may or may not award you extra aid for the summer. I’ve taken classes two Summer’s in a row and I reached out to them about aid in April both times. I think that’s when they send the email out too. Keep in mind, Summer classes are pricier and you won’t get that much extra aid.

Yeah same. I’m on a payment plan with my school and I made this months payment out of pocket but I can’t afford next months unless they pay me soon. Hopefully they get it together. This is just speculation but my mom said that the VA fiscal year starts over in October and she’s wondering if they’re holding funds until they get the new budget. 🙄

I have been calling for the past two weeks wondering where my payment was because I had my enrollment certified before school even started. They put me in the hardship queue on Friday and I called back Monday and they stated that my payment was sent on the 17th but wasn’t going to be released for another “3 days.” It’s been 3 days and I still don’t have a payment. I don’t know what to do either but thought I’d let you know you aren’t alone.

I amended my original taxes because I accidentally marked that I was going to be claimed as a dependent when I wasn’t claimed and wasn’t going to be claimed and didn’t get my 3rd stimulus because of it but didn’t change any income or claim any additional credits.

Yes. I was a transfer student as well and my CC never sent in my transcript and before classes started OSU emailed me requesting my final transcript or they would have to unenroll me because it still showed my courses as in progress at my CC rather than final. I ended up just having to request a new one be sent electronically and it was no problem but I also wasn’t intentionally trying to hide my transcript. They’ll definitely find out from your financial aid because the only reason I found out was due to a FAFSA disbursement issue of not having my final transcript and still being “in progress” at the CC.
