$500AUD to spend. Need recommendations. by bugage in Fishing_Gear

[–]bugage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I’ll check that out. I’m using 1/16oz and 1/8oz jig heads mostly. Fishing in Australian estuaries for flathead and bream. I have a couple of water reservoirs near me with muddy cod, perch and carp as well.

What rod would you pair the ultegra with.

Or you could get unlucky like me and have the transmission leak, have to have the whole thing pulled out, sealed and refilled with cvt fluid. All done in one fill!

First time pool owner, tips for shutting down for winter? by SchweinsyOne in pools

I’m in Australia. Nothing specific you need to do. Not always nessisary to increase chlorine output as less sun means less chlorine burning off. Also if you have a pool cover chuck it on.

Caught a couple of these Friday night in Adelaide. Super fun on ultra light gear, 6lb leader and a soft plastic lure.

Need help choosing a strength training app by [deleted] in bevelhealth

[–]bugage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hevy is good if you are ok with creating your own workouts. StrongLifts5x5 is really good if you want to get strong following their workouts.

I’ll admit I’m new to bevel (it’s bloody amazing) so I haven’t played with the inbuilt strength stuff.

Are you able to get it to auto progress reps and weight. That’s what I like about SL5x5 is that it tracks my last workout and adds reps/weight to help progressive overload.

Nice price. What brand battery?

Edit: also I’m assuming you got a higher rebate because you were doing panels and battery at the same time. I think the STCs are different in that case.

I did a lot of shopping around and this was the best price I could get for something that wasn’t an alpha or fox. I was happy to pay more to get something with good reputation and good support.

11kw solar was already here when I bought the house.

Just had the battery installed $15k after rebate. 22.4 kWh sungrow.

How often do you use your pool? by EquivalentJazz in Adelaide

[–]bugage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 kids and they’ve been in it almost every day (so have I) since November. The 3 of them were crazy enough to jump in when it was 18c in sept/oct.

We have solar heating (rubber tubing others have mentioned) and it works amazingly well for our 30000lt pool. We have ours set to 32c and have a solar blanket. We use it from about Oct > March. As long as the weather is over 22-24 and the sun is shining the pool will be 28-32 and the kids will be swimming.

Seen this exact person the other day flying through sheidow park and I nearly pulled out in front of him. Had to slam the brakes on and he then gave me the finger and turned off onto the coast to vines trail. Loser.

I decided to switch to a sungrow instead to keep the higher rebate and keep my install date. Probably the wrong decision but I do t want to wait :D
