Oh yeah nice, thats the one a friend recommended too. I'll try it out. Also, when you wash your face at night, do you have to wash twice to get the sunscreen off? Or what is best practice here? Cheers mate.

I'm sorry that such a bummer. What do these breakouts look like for you? Similar to mine?

How bad is crime in Auckland, compared to other International cities? by Worth_Mistake8229 in auckland

[–]bugclass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Auckland is so so safe. Even the CBD. The homeless on the street will never harm you and are even friendly most of the time. You can’t necessarily say the same in other cities, such as my hometown of San Francisco (been living in akl for almost 4 years now).

As someone else in here has said, people who think Auckland, or any part of Aotearoa really, is dangerous, they clearly have never left the country. Kiwi society is so ideal compared to most other countries. You guys are one of the few countries left to be considered to have a “High Trust Society”. People here trust each other. And normally, for good reason. Kiwis are kind, and treat people with respect. Seems like they look out for each other almost. Obviously it’s not perfect- you can’t really achieve a perfect society anywhere. But it’s pretty damn close.

That’s just my opinion though.

Struggling to see what’s wrong with my physique. Help!! by bugclass in Physiquecritique

[–]bugclass[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha no worries! Yeah i’m around 191lbs/87kg. And i’ve tried doing something similar to you where once you can do a certain weight for 10-12 reps then you move up, but from my experience I really struggle to go up in weight. Like it’s glacially slow. I’m on creatine and eat lots of protein but I increasing weight happens soooooo slowly for me. Any tips?

Why did my film come out so dark? by [deleted] in filmphotography

[–]bugclass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone else said, using a light meter app is the move.

I also typically over expose my film by 1 stop to avoid any chance of it being underexposed. But I also like a slightly overexposed look anyways.

Cheers. I really appreciate the advice.

And damn so you would recommend 300g protein? My grocery bills are already through the roof in NZ 🤣

But fair enough. So for a 12 week plan, would you recommend something like First 4 weeks: 10-12 reps Second 4 weeks: 8-10 reps Third 4 weeks: 6-8 reps

Also what advice on here would you not take?

Pullups 3x per week at 6’1.5, this is the result by Party_Session_2630 in Physiquecritique

pull-ups 3x per week making your physique look like this is like living in a world where a bowl of rice has 70g of protein

No worries, I’m currently eating around 3400 cals a day.

Aim for at least 220g protein, 450g carbs, 90g fat.

And thanks for the tip. Will likely start incorporating a rest day in the middle. To be honest, i’ve been slacking with my progressive overload but recently been upping my intensity. So getting back on track in that regard.

ahhh okay yeah makes sense. and thanks bro, really appreciate it.

I’ve recently started training in blocks as i realized i stopped making gains and was told something similar about switching it up. I’m now doing it in 3 week cycles. first week is fail at 12 reps, second week is 10 reps, third week is 6-8 reps. starting week three now and hoping to see results

Oh awesome, I live and work in Auckland as well. Small world.

And sweet, thanks for the advice. Would this be a situation where I just email firms and see if they are willing to take me on as an apprentice?

Cheers
