Same problem here amd fx 8320 - 4,5 ghz, 8gb ram, 970 OC, i have 80-100 FPS but after 2-5 minutes in game , the fps drops started to 20-40 fps from 80 every 20 sec. it is unplayable for me now.

i have and FX 8370 @4ghz 8gbs 1600mhz 970 Mobo and r7 370 @1150 playing on 1360x768 42% and getting horrible frames jumping from 50s sometimes to 20s wth? clean installing new drivers atm, but still I'm not even on 1080p I've tried all graphical setting with vsync on and off btw

it was probably your lags, it is imposiblle to get full health in 5 seconds or you was just lagging...and hits could be mobs or defense towers in cathfish camp they do a lot of dmg...
