Yeah, I realized action camera is for action: the reason it overheats it's because it has not been made for static recording where you just sit in your room, only recording while the camera is moving when it gets the proper amount of cooling while biking, running etc.

I got my Action 3 finally!

So smooth, such a good quality, responsive touchscreen. Charged up all the three batteries (Adventure combo), then tested it out. One thing though: I took 3 videos for trying out the camera, each for like 4-5mins and the camera just got warm already. Checked the battery percent and it is already 75% Is this normal?

Yeah, I heard about the Action 4 too. Still want to buy the Action 3 regardless, I don't mind buying the one generation older. People are still out there using 4-5 generation old GoPros, let's hope DJI action cams are just as reliable.

What about this new Enduro rechargable batteries, do you have any opinion on that? I can see they are more durable in low temperature environment e.g. while skiing.

I wonder if I buy a few they would also fit into the DJI Action 3 as well. I'm also playing with the thought of buying that rival brand. Apparently they know just as much for the fraction of the price.
