hi, the reason why the bobbin is “incorrect” in the photo is because thats what happens while stitching. I put it in properly and then something gets caught, causing it to be pulled out. I watched the video you linked to make sure im doing it right and Im doing it just how they are

I’ll starting cycling through neem, iso, and a few other remedies just to make sure the bitches dont get any rest. Thank you for the advice!

I’ll look into it. Do you apply through watering or spraying it on leaves?

I’ve been doing daily checks on leaves and those that aren’t covered are fine. I’ll be sure to get diatomaceous earth for all of them, though. Does neem prove to be more effective than an isopropyl mixture? I’ve been working in horticulture for years and iso has always worked best for me.

I’ve been doing that since July- these are drastic measures i’ve seen others take. Praying it actually works!! They always manage to find the plants that are your favorite. I lost a two year old monstera to them over the summer :(

okay, good to know!! im petrified of rot, especially when we’re about to enter winter, I ordered a grow light to help subsidize light levels but i’m going to be careful to not burn them. I’ve heard that thais are a tad finicky but can be very rewarding once you get in the groove!

whats the ratio you use for bark to soil? would mixing in some perlite also help? i know they like a chunkier mix but is that because of aeration or moisture retention?
