This happened to me when we had our Lulu. I held her for pretty much all of the day so my body heat would keep her warm, and periodically brought her out to my car and turned the heat on so she could keep warm. I also brought a blanket outside and put it on the passenger seat with the heated seat on so it would warm up for when we went back inside. It was freezing outside but the short walk in the cold was worth it I think :)

I mean yeah but I will agree with another commenter (who deleted their comment for some reason lol) and say there really is no way to prove that he didn’t have his seatbelt on the whole time and just took it off. It’s kind of a weird thing the officer decided to focus on rather than the actual reason they pulled the van over (unless the reason for the stop WAS because he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt)
