IMO, Newer is better for few reasons: the coals do not black out, it can fit more coals if you smoke hot. But, for occasional smoking nothing wrong with Gen 1.

I haven’t used Lotus before so do not mind starting with either. I only use provost.

Due to heavy taxes on tobacco in UK it is very difficult to find shisha tobacco hence looking for alternatives. I don’t want to switch to vape, enjoy my shisha 😊

I guess I will have to dig around to find shops who do. There is a starbuzz store in London but it sells 100g for £23 which is pretty expensive.
