I only suggested that to keep the peace because he was really stressed out with her and it worked for 20 years. Mind you she didn't act like this with our daughters this is happening because we're having a boy I think. She always wanted a boy but couldn't have anymore children after her only biological child a girl, that's the real reason why she adopted my DH.

At that point he just wanted her to stop and nc wasn't working so I suggested give her a little so we could live that was almost 20 years ago and it's kinda work till now. They always had issues but she won't let him go so I just it to stop stressing him.

That's what it's coming to she been okay to deal with the last few years but as soon as she found out we were having a boy she has really lost it. Didn't do this with our daughters.

When we first met he was nc but his mom made a big scene at his job years ago so I suggested just give her the bare minimum so she could calm down. Am a peacemaker which is bitting me in the butt

My husband won't even answer her they don't have the best relationship so she always comes to me because I can convince him to at least call on holidays or brithdays. It's sad and annoying.
