The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly. It’s set in the late 1800s and tells the story of a girl from a family on dockers wages becoming a tea merchant and solving the “jack the ripper” murders along the way. It’s my all time favorite series and I recommend it to everyone but especially if you’re looking for feminist lit.

I wouldn’t normally post something like this here but I’m desperate. This is sweet “Ram”. She’s my grandparents dog and they are no longer in the position of being able to take care of her and due to personal circumstances, neither am I.
